Katie started tap dancing when she was three. She studio danced from the age of three until she was 14. She danced tap until she was 8. She danced on dance team all four years of High School - competing in statewide competitions in Jazz, Kick lines, Hip-Hop and Lyrical. She danced a summer with Oregon Ballet Theater. She taught hip-hop for a year at the YMCA in Salem. She choreographed and taught dances for the 2014 PDX LDS Youth Dance Festival. She took choreography classes and danced at the collegiate level for like a year and a half… but she didn’t get a degree in dance, but she does have her Master of Arts in Teaching. After moving to Roseburg she taught Hip-Hop at Kathryn Howard School of Dance for two years. She also competed in the Peace at Home dance competition in 2022 and won Best Adult Dancer.
Fun Facts: I’m an avid baker, a voracious reader, a mother of three beautiful babes, a fitness junkie, and a BIG time Disney fan.
